Cause of death
Young King David died on May 17, 2018, after being hospitalized for weeks. His childhood friend-turned-manager told sources the internet sensation was admitted to hospital after collapsing a lung. He was on the mend when he developed complications that ultimately claimed his life.
Some of YKD’s other friends were of the opinion that he would still be alive if he had sought medical services sooner. They found that he had contracted an infection several months previously, which he had stubbornly left untreated, resulting in his lungs collapsing. Either way, the death of young King Dave has really shaken his family and friends, as well as the internet users he has reached through his videos.
His family set up a GoFundMe page to collect donations to cover funeral expenses. The remaining profits were then donated to her favorite foundation, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
