WWE’s Baron Corbin, NFL Career, Wife, Height & Age

Baron Corbin is an American wrestler signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), with a proven track record in the National Football League (NFL). He was a football player before coming to WWE to make a name for himself as a wrestler. Since debuting in 2012 as a professional wrestler, Corbin has come a long way in building a generous following for himself. Here is everything to know about him.

Biography of Baron Corbin, Age

Corbin was born as Thomas Pestock on September 13, 1984, in Lenexa, Kansas. He was raised by his parents, Mona Pestock and Steven Pestock, alongside his brother, Danny Pestock. Growing up he had always been very athletic but instead of the ring it was his football field that worried him and that was what he started out with until he left it for the wrestling arena.

But before the wrestling ring came boxing. Corbin fought in the National Golden Glove Champions Tournament in 2008 as an amateur boxer. He attended Northwest Missouri State University after high school. It was from there that he started playing football with the Indianapolis Colts after he was not traded in 2009.

His career in the NFL

Having signed to play National League football with the Colts on April 27, 2009, his dream was shattered as he was released four months later (August 13), only to be quit by the same team six days later ( August 19). A year later, he joined the Arizona Cardinals and played there for a year before calling the situation off.

With three seasons in the league under his belt, he was fully aware that football was not what he should be doing as he hadn’t registered any meaningful data in terms of statistics.

Career

On top of everything else, what made Thomas’ audience count was his metamorphosis into Baron Corbin, the result of his decision to start wrestling as a wrestler. He signed to WWE’s NXT in 2012 and his first fight came in October of that year, just two months after signing. Unfortunately for him, he lost the fight to Dante Dash before coming back to lose to Damien Sandow in his first televised fight.

Before too long, he must have recorded a few wins, but almost nothing of significance in the NXT challenge. At WrestleMania 32, he made the roster with a debut performance that earned him the Memorial Battle Royal Andre the Giant.

Just one night after his Smackdown debut, Corbina also made his RAW debut, but his big moment came when he was drafted under the Smackdown brand at the 2016 WWE Draft on July 19. He participated in and won the 2017 Money in the Bank match. Sure, he had many interesting and entertaining fights, but almost nothing was really significant.

Also known as Lone Wolf, his career is rewarded with a WWE Championship, an André the Giant Memorial Trophy, a Money in the Bank win, as well as his Pro Wrestling Illustrated Top 500 ranking. wrestlers in the PWI 500 in 2017. He was ranked No. 49 in the list. Another thing is that Corbin was named the Most Metal Athlete of the Year in 2016 by the Revolver after being voted above the likes of Robin Lehner, Drew Stafford, Julianna Peña and Matt Brown.

women

The rather cocky wrestler, as with many others in the sport, has been married to Rochelle Roman since April 2017. While it’s unclear how long they dated before deciding to settle down as husband and wife, it is known that his wife, Rochelle, was born on August 29, 1991, in Florida. Rochelle Roman isn’t the only woman Corbin has dated. Before her, he was in a relationship with American singer and songwriter Maria Brink.

Height and width

Without a doubt, Baron Corbin is a figure that can easily intimidate one, especially if you consider his size. In fact, that has been his motivation in sports, moving from boxing to soccer to wrestling. In numbers, he is a whopping 6ft 8in bulk, which positions him as a tower above some opponents. He weighs 129 kg.
