Baron Corbin is an American wrestler signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), with a proven track record in the National Football League (NFL). Biography of Baron Corbin, Age
Corbin was born as Thomas Pestock on September 13, 1984, in Lenexa, Kansas. He was raised by his parents, Mona Pestock and Steven Pestock, alongside his brother, Danny Pestock. Growing up he had always been very athletic but instead of the ring it was his football field that worried him and that was what he started out with until he left it for the wrestling arena.
But before the wrestling ring came boxing. Corbin fought in the National Golden Glove Champions Tournament in 2008 as an amateur boxer. He attended Northwest Missouri State University after high school. It was from there that he started playing football with the Indianapolis Colts after he was not traded in 2009.
His career in the NFL
Having signed to play National League football with the Colts on April 27, 2009, his dream was shattered as he was released four months later (August 13), only to be quit by the same team six days later ( August 19). A year later, he joined the Arizona Cardinals and played there for a year before calling the situation off.
With three seasons in the league under his belt, he was fully aware that football was not what he should be doing as he hadn’t registered any meaningful data in terms of statistics.
Career

He signed to WWE’s NXT in 2012 and his first fight came in October of that year, just two months after signing.
