Career
Wisin released his debut album with Llandel Malave in 2000. He then launched his debut solo album, El Sobreviviente, in 2004. After a decade, he released his second solo studio album, El Regreso del Sobreviviente, in 2014. Currently, he is on tour with Prince Royce for their Power and Love project. Wisin and Yandel formed their duo during their school days and gained popularity in the late 1990s.
The duo’s first album, Los Reyes del Nuevo Milenio, was released in 2000. They then signed with Universal subsidiary Machete Music in 2003 and produced their debut for the label, Mi Vida… My Life. Their mainstream breakthrough came with the release of Pa’l Mundo in 2005. Subsequently, they established their own label, WY Records, and introduced an associate group, Los Vaqueros.
