Mikaela Spielberg, the daughter of renowned Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg, 66, and actress Kate Capshaw, 66, has elaborated on her decision to pursue a career in the adult film industry.
Last week, the 23-year-old revealed to The Sun that she had become frustrated with conventional employment and sought to “capitalize on her body.”
Mikaela, who views herself as a “sexual creature,” also expressed, “I also just got tired of working day to day in a way that wasn’t satisfying my soul. I feel like doing this kind of work, I’m able to ‘satisfy’ other people, but that feels good because it’s not in a way that makes me feel violated.”
Following her public announcement, her father Steven was reportedly left feeling ’embarrassed’ and ‘concerned’ about her new career path.
Addressing online bullying and explaining her choice to enter the adult film industry on Instagram, Mikaela, whose account is now private, wrote, “Everyone seems to be fixated on a couple of things [right now].
1. Why I’m not concerned with protecting the concept of virtue
2. If I’m considered attractive
3. Why if I apparently have so much money am I making these personal choices.”
“Well for the first time in my life I’ll be able to pay my own bills and secure my own freedom. I woke up this morning and felt empowered for the first time in my life… I’m going to spend my day taking excellent care of myself. No one wakes up perfect and with makeup on and that’s the tea… I’m here for the girls and the sex workers with big noses and 4c textured hair.”
