Who Killed Tony Soprano?
Patsy's loyalties have never been obvious, despite her being one of the best supporting performers in The Sopranos. Since he promoted Christopher over Tony for a promotion, he and Tony have always had issues. He decides against doing it and instead urinates in Tony's pool. Additionally, it has been suggested that he was a member of the team that shot Silvio. Chase had anticipated Tony's death but had not anticipated the internet chaos that followed. "I had no idea it would cause that much…of an uproar," the series creator said of the abrupt ending. "What was annoying was how many people wanted to see Tony killed. They wanted to see him go face-down in linguini, you know? That bothered me." Chase may have killed him off the show, but he still doesn't want the mob boss to be killed. Respect.

Tony's uncle Dickie, played by Alessandro Nivola, is referenced to in the movie. This is due to Tony's idolization of Dickie, who he refers to as his uncle despite not being Dickie's nephew. Even if two people are not blood relatives, calling them aunt or uncle can still be a sign of affection. Similar to how Tony refers to Christopher as his "nephew" despite the fact that he is a first-degree relative of Tony's wife Carmela. But near the end of the movie, Dickie is killed on the assassin's orders of Junior Soprano, played by Corey Stoll.
