Who Is Scott Moir Wife Jaclyn Mascarin? Meet Their Baby Daughter

For over two decades, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir skated together while denying allegations that they were more than just skating partners.

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, two Olympic ice dancers, won the hearts of the American people in PyeongChang in 2018. The fans kept returning for more because of their connection on and off the rink.

It’s incredible that they never even contemplated dating after spending more than twenty years skating together. They have fostered their relationship for years, and it is pretty uncommon.

Their strong friendship makes it no surprise that they are the most decorated Olympic figure skaters in history, with three gold and two silver medals.

Did Tessa And Scott Ever Date?

When they were younger, the two held hands for a few months as they “dated,” but they were too terrified to even look at each other!

According to The Things, even Scott’s aunt knew that these two were a skating match made in heaven back then.

These two Canadian athletes won gold at Vancouver’s 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Then, in 2014, they took silver from the Olympics in Sochi after falling short behind Meryl Davis and Charlie of the United States.

Their Retirement After Taking Gold In South Korea

Scott and Tessa decided to step away from the ice for a while, but they could not do so for quite a long time. They genuinely believed retirement was just around the horizon, but they missed skating with each other too much.

Preparing for the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, they knew it felt natural to return. Instead of feeling obligated to demonstrate their skills, they were skating for them this time.
