It has been reported that Victoria Paris, an acclaimed American adult film star, has tragically passed away at the age of 60.
Paris, who ventured into the adult entertainment industry in 1988, lost her battle with cancer on August 10, as per AVN.
The news of Paris’s demise prompted tributes from her friends and colleagues in the industry.
Director Axel Braun fondly reminisced about Paris’s role in the first movie he penned, “Fantasy Nights,” back in 1990.
“I specifically wrote the lead role for her because she exuded a sense of grace and innocence that perfectly complemented the narrative I aimed to convey,” he shared.
“Upon our initial meeting at the table reading, she mentioned that, similar to me, she abstained from smoking, drinking, or using drugs, which was quite unusual for that era. I immediately recognized her exceptional professionalism, amiable nature, and meticulous preparation, all of which significantly contributed to the smooth and pleasant production process.”
“I crossed paths with her multiple times over the years at the Cannes Film Festival, as she adored traveling and indulging in the finer things in life. Based on my encounters with her, she embodied those qualities.”
According to AVN, Paris appeared in over 100 adult films throughout her career. Some of her most renowned works include “The Chameleon,” “Beauty & the Beast II,” “The New Barbarian,” and “The Seduction of Mary,” as reported by the outlet.
Unfortunately, this devastating news arrives following the untimely deaths of two young, popular stars in the adult entertainment industry earlier this year.
Porn star Dakota Skye, aged 27, was discovered deceased in a trailer in LA in June, reportedly struggling with a fentanyl addiction. Additionally, fellow star Dahlia Sky, aged 31, passed away in an apparent suicide in July.
