Victor Garcia Obituary, Death – On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at the age of 65, a loving father, grandpa, brother, and friend passed away at Avista Nursing and Rehab in Bridgeport, Michigan. The facility is located in Michigan. On June 1, 1957, Victor was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, to the late Christina Moore, who had previously passed away.

Victor devoted his working life to providing security for the firm that was owned by his sister and to serving his community as a mechanic for over 30 years, during which time he worked on automobiles and motorbikes. He was very passionate about motorcycles, and in particular Harleys. Additionally, he had a passion for hunting, and one of his final requests was to have his ashes dispersed in the forest where he had spent so much of his life enjoying the outdoors.

People tend to recall Victor as a rough and obstinate man who could be blunt but who had a soft place for children, particularly his nephews. He was also outspoken. Victor is survived by his daughter Debra (Steve) Weaver; grandchildren Elise Weaver and Steven Weaver, Jr.’s sister Christina Zolinski; special nephews Steve Munger, Brian Zolinski, Christopher Zolinski, Tim Imm, and Allen Imm; special nieces Brianna Zientek and Elisabeth Gaus.

Special friend Connie Cook; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends. Debra (Floyd) Munger, Victor’s sister; Angie Munger, Victor’s niece; and a large number of Victor’s close friends all passed away before him. On Monday, April 3rd, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., a funeral service for Victor will be place at W.L. Case & Company, which is located at 5700 Dixie Highway in Saginaw.

The Reverend Rob Richards will preside over the service. The funeral home will be open for visitation beginning at one in the afternoon and continuing until the start of the service. After the service, the body will be cremated. Those who wish to express their condolences can do so by making a donation to the Family Discretionary Fund, care of Debra Weaver, or to the Underground Railroad, located at 1230 South Washington Avenue in Saginaw.
