BIOGRAPHY
Uriah Shelton is an American actor and singer, born on March 10, 1997, in Dallas, Texas. He grew up in Magnolia Springs, Alabama, and as a child became interested in piano, soccer, and martial arts. At age 7, he took modeling classes, which took him to a children’s competition in Orlando. . Although he did not win, he was one of the most prominent and charismatic participants, who was sought after by different representation agencies. He discovered that acting was something he was passionate about and his mother decided to move with him to Los Angeles to pursue a professional career as an actor. As soon as he arrived in the city, he began working in commercials but never abandoned his passion for martial arts, becoming champion, in 2006, in two regional Tae Kwon Do categories. Winning the championships served as a closing to the sport and he focused entirely on acting, where he has participated in series such as Trust Me (2009), The Glades (2010-2013), Looking for Alaska (2019) and in films such as The Warriors Gate (2016) and Freaky: This body is to kill (2020).
