The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) reports several restrictions on area roads on Tuesday evening:
Wind Alert, Vehicles over nine feet use caution on:
- I-580 from Eastlake Boulevard, exit 44, to Mt. Rose Highway, exit 56
- Old US-395 from Davis Creek Park to Eastlake Boulevard
Truck Restrictions:
- Mt. Rose Highway from SR-28/Incline Village to Galena Creek Park/Douglas Fir Drive
Road Closures
- Mt. Rose Highway from Fairview Boulevard to Douglas Fir Drive
- I-80 from California/Nevada state line to Baxter
- CA-89 from One ring road to Jamerson Beach Road
- CA-88 from CA-89/Luther Pass Road to Silver Lake East Campground
Chains Required, All Vehicles Except 4-Wheel Drive with Snow Tires on:
- Mt. Rose Highway from SR-28 to Fairview Boulevard
- CA-267 from CA-89 to CA-28
- CA-28 from Crystal Bay to Tahoe City
- CA-89 from Tahoe City to I-80
- CA-88 from Tahoe City to One Ring Road
- CA-88 from Silver Lake East Campground to Mormon Emigrant Trail
- CA-89 from Plumas County/Sierra County line to Hobart Mills Road
