BIOGRAPHY
After two years in the theater company of the “Gutrie Theater” in his hometown of Minneapolis, TR Knight moved to New York where he distinguished himself on Broadway in the play “Noises Off” (2001) opposite Peter Gallagher , then in “Tartuffe” . He appeared on television from 2003 as a regular character in the only season of the series Charlie Lawrence . He followed this up with guest-star roles in Frasier (2003), New York City Crime Squad (2004) and CSI before moving to Seattle Grace Hospital in the hit series Grey’s Anatomy (2005) on ABC. He plays a young intern secretly in love with Ellen Pompeo ‘s character .
