Tottenham Hotspur has officially secured the signing of Arnaut Danjuma on loan from Villarreal, marking their initial acquisition of the January transfer window.

There had been indications that Danjuma was heading to Everton after reaching an agreement with the Merseyside club and passing a medical examination. However, Spurs intervened with a last-minute swoop to finalize the deal.

The Netherlands international, who did not make the World Cup squad, completed a medical assessment yesterday and is set to replace Lucas Moura in Conte’s squad.

The 25-year-old has agreed to spend the remainder of the 2022-23 season with Antonio Conte’s side.
