Tory Lanez gets third felony charge in Megan Thee Stallion shooting case

Canadian music sensation, Tory Lanez, has been hit with a third felony charge in connection with the shooting incident involving rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

According to reports from TMZ, court records reveal that Tory now faces a new charge of felony negligent discharge of a firearm, in addition to his previous charges of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm.

Tory had previously pleaded not guilty to the initial two charges back in 2020, vehemently denying Megan’s accusation of being the perpetrator behind the shooting incident that resulted in her foot injury during their time together in a vehicle.

Megan, in a recent social media post, directly accused Tory of being responsible, stating, “Yes, this n**** Tory shot me. You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people to these blogs lying and s***, stop lying!”

Leading up to the trial, both artists have exchanged barbs through songs, on social media, and via other artists. Despite being placed on house arrest and fitted with an ankle monitor in October, Tory appeared unfazed, even flashing a smile.

The jury selection process has commenced, and opening statements are scheduled for next week.
