Following the tragic drowning of their 17-month-old daughter Taidyn “Totty” Murphy in their home’s backyard spa in Gracemere, Queensland’s Rockhampton region, Tahlia Murphy and her husband Cecil, 28, discovered an eerie yet touching detail in a photo from their wedding day.
The couple, who also have children Paityn, 12, Laikyn, 6, and Haivyn, 4, decided to honor Totty’s memory by getting married three months after her passing.
According to Tahlia, the entire wedding day was dedicated to Totty, with one particular photo holding special significance. In the picture of Tahlia and Cecil sharing a kiss, a shadowy figure can be seen in the background, adding a mysterious element to the image.
Reflecting on this discovery, Tahlia mentioned that the wedding was entirely dedicated to Totty, with various tributes to her throughout the event. One of her friends noticed the enigmatic figure in the background, leading to a heartwarming realization for Tahlia and Cecil.
Overwhelmed by the emotional impact of the unexpected presence of their daughter in the photo, Tahlia expressed her belief in supernatural signs, especially following Totty’s passing. She also shared how they have been encountering yellow butterflies regularly, linking them to their daughter’s presence.
Tahlia’s belief in these signs was reinforced when she shared the photo with the mysterious figure on TikTok, receiving a flood of comments asserting the presence of their baby girl in the image.
