Singer Joyce SIms dies at 63

Renowned R&B vocalist Joyce Sims has sadly left us at the age of 63.

The news of her passing was shared on social media by CJ Carlos, a former employee of Chelsea Football Club.

Carlos announced yesterday, October 15, that Joyce had passed away.

Joyce Sims rose to prominence in 1987 with the success of her single “Come Into My Life,” which reached the top 10 in both the US and the UK.

Her debut hit, “All and All,” peaked at number six on the US dance chart and secured a spot in the top 20 of the UK singles chart.

She continued to release several more tracks in the subsequent years, including “Lifetime Love,” “Walk Away,” and “Looking For a Love.”

Notable artists such as rapper Snoop Dogg and singer Angie Stone have incorporated samples of her work into their own music.

Hailing from Rochester, New York, Sims had been touring in England during the summer and was set to release a new album this year.
