Henry Santos, his cousin and the group’s vocalist, songwriter, and producer, was born on 15 December 1979 in Moca, Dominican Republic, and relocated to The Bronx at the age of 13. Max Santos, the band’s bassist, was born on 30 January 1982 in the South Bronx, also of Dominican heritage, and learned to play bass during his teenage years. Lenny Santos, the group’s guitarist, was born on 24 October 1979 in The Bronx, of Dominican background, also serving as the band’s musical producer.
