The late Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, did not leave behind a will, according to his management team.
The management clarified that the artist passed away without specifying how his assets should be distributed.
In a recent interview with TVC, Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, alleged that his son had a will. He expressed his astonishment saying, “I was so shocked when I heard that the 26 years had a will. As a father, I do not have something like that. I’ve never thought of writing my will.”
Further, Aloba claimed that the will had a thumbprint instead of a signature, and suggested that the thumbprints were made after the singer’s death.
However, the management released a statement via the late singer’s Instagram page, dismissing the claim as “false and misleading.”
The statement also addressed the ongoing police investigation and clarified the status of Mohbad’s accounts.
