TCN reacts to collapse of national grid

The national grid has been restored by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) after it collapsed earlier today. The collapse occurred at approximately 1.49 pm, but TCN has since confirmed that electricity has been restored to most parts of the country, with the exception of the Jos axis.
TCN has assured that electricity will also be restored to the Jos axis within the hour following the issuance of their statement. According to TCN, “The grid experienced a collapse today. Presently, supply has been restored except for the Jos axis, which will soon have supply within the hour.” The collapse occurred at 1.49 pm and has now been fully restored,” Mbah stated in the announcement.
