Takehiro Hira is a Japanese actor, born on July 27, 1974, in Setagaya, Tokyo. Son of actors Mikijiro Hira and Ryoko Sakuma, Takehiro always knew that he wanted to follow in his parents’ footsteps and trained as a teenager in his hometown, before traveling to the United States, at age 15, to study in Providence, and then became interested and entered the Department of Applied Mathematics at Brown University. Although he got an offer for a master’s degree, Hira decided to decline it to pursue his luck as an actor.
