Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face their regular opponents South Africa and their former coach, Gernot Rohr, in an attempt to qualify for the next FIFA World Cup, which will take place in the United States of America, Canada, and Mexico.
Group B, in which Nigeria has been placed, includes Benin Republic, now under the management of Rohr, along with Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and Lesotho.
The draws ceremony was conducted on Thursday in Abidjan, Cote’d’Ivoire.
The group winner will automatically qualify for the expanded World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States of America, Mexico, and Canada.
