Stuck in the Middle was created by Alison Brown. It is an American family comedy television series developed by Alison Brown and Linda Videtti Figueiredo and aired on Disney Channel from 2016  February 14 to  2018 July 23. The series focuses on Jenna Ortega, aka Harley Diaz. She invents many gadgets to cope with living in a considerable family. In complement to the series' regular episodes, the series aired six shorts on December 16, 2016.

Malachi Barton plays the role of Beast Diaz, one-half of the twin pair. He is the younger twin who reluctantly follows Lewie's lead in everything. They cause trouble when their parents are around or not, which has become a trope in Disney Channel shows.

Malachi has been acting in his Disney roots recently, starring in the 2021 remake of Under Wraps and guest-starring in episodes of Bunked, Just Roll With It, and Elena of Avalor.
