Stormy Daniels, the adult film star involved in Donald Trump’s legal troubles, expressed her belief that it’s inevitable for his wife Melania to divorce him.
During an interview on the Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O, the 44-year-old entertainer made this claim.
In response to host Kyle Sandilands asking if she ever reached out to the former first lady, 52, to discuss her alleged affair with Trump, 76, Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, responded that she hadn’t, but added, “She knows how to find me. Maybe she’ll ask me to testify at her divorce hearing.”
When Sandilands questioned if they would get divorced, Daniels initially affirmed, “Oh, I think so,” but later slightly retracted, emphasizing that she didn’t want to assume Melania’s thoughts or feelings. However, she pointed out Melania’s silence as speaking volumes.
Daniels also noted Melania’s absence at her husband’s arraignment in New York City, highlighting its significance.
Melania and Trump got married in 2005 after dating for eight years. They welcomed their son Barron a year later, just months before his alleged encounter with Daniels.
Daniels’ comments on the Trumps’ marriage come shortly after the ex-president was charged with 34 felony counts in Manhattan related to alleged hush-money payments to her.
He reportedly paid her $130,000 before the 2016 U.S. election to suppress their alleged sexual encounter in 2006. Another former Playboy model, Karen McDougal, is also said to have received hush money for her alleged encounter with Trump.
In addition to the legal issues with Daniels, Trump faces criminal investigations for attempting to overturn his 2020 election loss and mishandling classified documents in Washington, as well as a separate criminal probe in Georgia for trying to overturn his defeat in that state.
Trump, the leading candidate for the Republican nomination in 2024, denies having an affair with Daniels but has acknowledged the payment. The next hearing in the case is set for December 4.
