BIOGRAPHY
Stacy Rukeyser is an American writer and producer, born in 1970, in New York. A graduate of Princeton University, Stacy specialized in production and creative writing as part of the group of thirteen students at the Warner Bros. Dramatic Writing Workshop in 2002. Her beginnings in the industry were as part of the writing team for the television film Fearless . (2004) and soon began working as a screenwriter, on four episodes, of the popular youth series One Tree Hill (2004-2006). She was a writer and producer of series such as Crash (2008-2009), The Lying Game (2011-2013) before achieving her greatest professional success as producer and showrunner of the series UnREAL (2016-2018). She is most recently showrunner of the Netflix original series, Sex/Life (2021).
