Marvel's Spider-Man, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by Insomniac Games and directed by Ryan Smith, Brian Horton,Bryan Intihar, and Marcus Smith released in 2018 as an action-adventure game. It was released on September 7, 2018 and November 12, 2020 for Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 respectively. It is based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. It recounts an original story that is inspired by the comics. Mister Negative, a superhuman crime lord plots to capture control of New York City's criminal underworld in the main story. Spider-Man must protect the city while dealing with the personal troubles of his civilian character as Peter Parker and battle Mister Negative, who threatens to release a deadly virus.

Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 Gameplay
The game is played in third-person, with a strong emphasis on Spider-traversal Man's and combat abilities. By continuing the main story or accomplishing tasks, Spider-Man can interact with characters, complete missions, and unlock new gadgets and outfits by freely wandering around New York City. The player can complete side missions to gain access to more content and collectibles, outside of the main quest. Combat centres incapacitate several opponents while avoiding injury by chaining assaults and utilising the environment and webs.

Spider-Man (Marvel Comics)
Stan Lee, a writer-editor, and Steve Ditko, a writer-artist, invented Spider-Man. He originally appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962),an anthology comic book. He appears in Marvel Universe’s adaptations of Marvel Comics' American comic books, as well as films, television shows, and video games. Lee and Ditko gave the character many supporting characters, including J. Jonah Jameson, Harry Osborn, Flash Thompson, romantic interests Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson, and foes such as the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Venom, who helped him deal with the struggles of adolescence and financial issues. In his origin narrative, a radioactive spider bite grants him spider-like abilities such as adhering to surfaces, superhuman strength and agility, and the ability to detect danger with his "spider-sense." He also creates wrist-mounted "web-shooter" gadgets that shoot his own artificial spider webs.
