BIOGRAPHY
British actress Sophia Di Martino attended the University of Salford, where she graduated with a BA with Honors in Media and Acting. She also has a great talent for music, which she developed before entering university. She began acting professionally since 2004, appearing in theater, in some series and short films. She first came to prominence in 2008 when she had a regular role on the medical drama series The Royal Today . In 2011 she had the regular role of Pauline “Polly” Emmerson in Casualty . She also appeared in the third series of 4 O’Clock Club in 2014 as Miss Parkwood and in the 2015 film Royal Day Out . In film she played Eva in the 2016 film, The Darkest Universe , and she starred from 2016 to 2018 in the Channel 4 series Flowers , as Amy Flowers. In 2019 she was part of the main cast of Danny Boyle’s musical film Yesterday (2019) and was cast in an as yet unknown role in the highly anticipated Disney+ show Loki .
