BIOGRAPHY
Silvia Angelica Navarro Barva was born on September 14, 1978 in Irapuato, Mexico. As a baby, she appeared in advertisements for various brands. Later, although still a child, Silvia auditioned for the soap opera Carrusel, where, although she obtained one of her roles, she had to decline the offer to go live with her father in another city.
She studied acting at the Casa del Teatro, where she received a formal invitation to join the Artistic Education Center (CEA). In her youth, she hosted the game show A la cachi cachi porra , alongside her brother René Navarro. Her participation in the show opened the door for her to join the television station TV Azteca, where she would make her debut on the small screen with the telenovela Perla , landing the main role. From there, she began a long and successful career in soap operas such as Catalina y Sebastián, La calle de las novias, When you are mine and La doubt , among several others.
After a few years of absence, Silvia would return to star in the TV Azteca soap opera, Montecristo . In 2007, rumors began to spread that the actress would join the ranks of Televisa, a direct competitor of TV Azteca. In 2008, the actress participated in the film Amor Letra por Letra , alongside Plutarco Haza.
In 2008, finally, his change of television station happened, obtaining the leading role in the soap opera produced by Televisa, Mañana es para siempre . This was followed by When I Fall in Love and Amor bravío .
The actress continued to be active in theater and film, participating in the films Cabeza de buda (2009), I present to you Laura (2010), Lips red (2011) and The perfect dictatorship (2014).
