Sid The Sloth
Sidney, also popularly known as "Sid" is one of the fictional characters of Ice Age (franchise). He is a dull-witted, talkative, cheerful, carefree, naive, accident-prone, patient and funny with a kind personality who is voiced with a lateral lisp in all five flicks. Sid's life is little known except that he once resided in a tree with other sloths who always tried to leave him behind when the migration happened, employing a variety of methods to do so.

In the first film, he accidentally starts a fire and learns how to do it properly towards the end.
In the second film, he is worshipped as a "Fire King" by a tribe of "mini-sloths" who try to sacrifice him.
In the third film, he is forcibly taken to the underground dinosaur land by the mother of the trio of baby T-Rexes, which he adopts.
His full name was revealed as Sidney in the fourth film, though it was already used in the first film’s deleted scene
