As the 2023 TotalEnergies CAF African Cup of Nations is set to kick off in Cote d’Ivoire this Saturday, an array of stunning and captivating images are surfacing on the internet.
Reports suggest that heavy traffic is building up in the city of Abidjan, with supporters from various participating teams flocking to the venue for the Group A opening match between hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea Bissau.
This marks the first time Cote d’Ivoire is hosting the tournament since 1984.
The 34th edition of the AFCON, to be held at the Alassane Ouattara stadium, will be officiated by the seasoned 39-year-old Egyptian referee, Amin Omar.
