Socialite Sam Larry, who has been implicated in the death of singer Mohbad, has finally addressed the accusations against him.
According to the allegations, Sam Larry, a popular music and show promoter, and his associates subjected Mohbad to relentless bullying, resulting in significant distress for the singer. It was claimed that Larry even influenced show promoters to deny Mohbad opportunities, making his life increasingly difficult after leaving Marlians Record.
Following the emergence of a video online showing Sam Larry and some individuals harassing the late singer Mohbad, Sam Larry faced backlash on social media.
The video depicted Larry and some boys interrupting a music video shoot involving Mohbad and Zlatan, causing Mohbad to flee in fear.
In a recent Instagram video, Sam Larry addressed the accusations and clarified the situation surrounding the harassment video. He stated, “Mohbad is my brother, and I loved him when he was in Marlians record. The viral videos are from last year when I was not in the country.
He explained that the video where they disrupted the video shoot took place last year, but the petition against them was dated June 2023. Furthermore, he claimed that the video showing Mohbad’s bruised skin was a result of a fight in a club involving Mohbad’s friend, and they did not harm Mohbad despite his visible injuries.
Sam Larry, also known as Sammy Larry or Sam Larry Eletu Balogun, gained media attention after controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, accused him of being affiliated with the One Million Boys cultist group. However, Larry later refuted these claims.
It is worth noting that Sam Larry is known to be an ally of singer Naira Marley.
