BIOGRAPHY
Of Algerian origin, Salim Kechiouche was discovered by the director Gaël Morel who made him appear in his film At all speed when he was still only fifteen years old. Not particularly considering comedy as a vocation, he turned to combat sports and became French kickboxing champion in 1998 and vice-champion of Thai boxing in 1999 and 2002. However, he continued to collaborate with the one who offered him his first role by filming in his following projects, firstly the TV film Premières neiges in 1999 then Le Clan in 2004 and Après lui in 2005.

Wanting a career in comedy following these collaborations, Salim Kechiouche decided to devote himself fully to his passion and followed training at the theater school “La Scène sur Saône” which he completed in 2002. He very quickly found roles in the cinema with French filmmakers such as François Ozon with Les Amants criminals or David Ohelhoffen in Our reunions than strangers since he notably plays the title role of the film Le Fil by the Tunisian Mehdi Ben Attia , in which he plays the opposite Claudia Cardinale .

Dividing his career between theater and cinema, Salim Kechiouche is also very present on television. He plays the title role in the series Fortunes by Stéphane Giusti and Bertrand Cohen and participates in the historical series Odysseus , adapted from Homer ‘s “The Odyssey” in which he plays Orion. In the cinema, his recent roles give him the opportunity to shine in different registers. He is thus a young Algerian evolving in the era of French Algeria within the fresco Ce que le jour owe à la nuit by Alexandre Arcady , a seducer in the comedy Paris at all costs by Reem Kherici or even the one of the notable supporting roles in La Vie d’Adèle by Abdellatif Kechiche .

Testifying to demanding career choices, the actor continues with Being , the first feature film by former basketball player Fara Sene . This is an ensemble film in the vein of Collision .
