Satou Toure, the mother of Senegal international Sadio Mane, has shared insights into her son’s relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo during their time together at Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, SPL.
Mane made the move to Al-Nassr alongside Ronaldo in the summer transfer window.
Since his arrival, the former Liverpool and Bayern Munich forward has become an integral part of Al-Nassr’s flourishing attacking lineup.
Alongside Ronaldo and Brazilian attacker Anderson Talisca, Mane has played a key role in Al-Nassr’s strong performance under the guidance of manager Luis Castro.
Mane’s impressive statistics highlight his impact at Al-Nassr, with six goals and one assist in just eight games.
Following Al-Nassr’s recent 2-1 victory against Al Ta’ee, Toure expressed her happiness about the close bond between her son and Ronaldo, describing them as brothers.
She stated via 9NFCBALL: “Sadio and Ronaldo are like brothers, and the Al-Nassr team feels like a close-knit family.
“I have a strong belief that Al-Nassr will win the league.”
Currently, Al-Nassr is positioned fourth in the SPL.
