Carole passed away at the age of 98, just days before her 99th birthday, due to heart failure in Beverly Hills, as confirmed by her husband Tom Troupe, 94.

Carole Cook’s illustrious career, which began under the mentorship of Lucille Ball, spanned several decades. Upon Ball’s recommendation, she relocated from Texas to California and even changed her name from Mildred to Carole at Ball’s urging.

Her association with Lucille Ball continued as she appeared in episodes of “The Lucy Show” and “Here’s Lucy”, and the iconic “I Love Lucy” star played a significant role in shaping Carole’s career.

Carole Cook is survived by her husband, stepson Christopher and his wife Becky, sister Regina, and nieces and nephews.
