Sad! Boy with 'missing' intestine dies in LASUTH

The tragic story of a 13-year-old boy, Adebola Akin-Bright, has come to a sad end as he passed away after his small intestine allegedly went missing following treatment at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) and a private hospital.

According to family sources, Adebola experienced complications on the evening of September 19 and was urgently taken to the intensive care unit of LASUTH, where he was later pronounced dead.

Earlier on the same day, the Lagos State House of Assembly had urged Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to instruct the Ministry of Health to allocate funds for Adebola’s overseas medical treatment.

The plight of Adebola gained attention when his mother took to social media to appeal to the Governor for an investigation into the mysterious disappearance of her son’s intestine. The Governor responded to the viral video by visiting Adebola in the hospital and promising to do everything possible to restore his health.
