Reports from NewsNow suggest that Fulham, a Premier League club, is considering Jerome Akor as a potential transfer target in January.
Football Insider stated that Fulham recently deployed scouts to observe Akor’s performance for Montpellier in Ligue 1.
Having joined Montpellier from Norwegian club Lillestrom in the summer, the 23-year-old forward has netted seven goals in 17 league appearances for the former Ligue 1 champions.
Fulham is in dire need of attacking reinforcements following Aleksandar Mitrovic’s departure to Saudi side Al Hilal during the summer transfer window.
However, it seems that Fulham faces competition for Akor’s signature, with West Ham United and AC Milan also expressing interest in the player.
