In a one-year deal, Brentford has reached an agreement to sign Romeo Beckham from Inter Miami.

Romeo, at 20 years old, had been playing for Brentford’s B team on loan, and now he is making a permanent move ahead of the upcoming English football season.

His performance in the Bees side, where they won the Premier League Cup, has earned him a full-time deal with Brentford.

This move signifies the end of Beckham’s stint with his father’s team, as his father, David Beckham, leads the MLS franchise.

He is set to join the team at the start of pre-season, with hopes of being involved in the first team. Manager Neil MacFarlane expressed his willingness to continue to work with Beckham beyond the current season in an interview with Mail Sport.

Reports also indicate that Beckham is motivated to stay in London in order to be closer to his girlfriend, Mia Regan.

Brentford B manager MacFarlane, in a recent statement to Mail Sport, described Beckham as a pivotal member of the team and expressed his willingness to continue aiding in his development at Brentford.

Beckham initially started his career in Arsenal’s academy, but after being released at the age of 12 in 2014, he initially expressed disinterest in pursuing a career in football. However, in 2021, he made a comeback, joining Inter Miami in America after his father’s involvement with the club.
