BIOGRAPHY
Robert Ray Wisdom is an American actor, born on September 14, 1953, in Washington, DC, United States. Son of Jamaican parents, Robert graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Dramatic Arts. He would soon move to Los Angeles to get better roles. His physique would help him get his first roles, in supporting roles, in films such as Eso que tú Haces (1996), Volcano (1997), Contracara (1997) , Joe (1998), Duplex (2003), as well as roles in series such as Poltergeist: The Legacy (1997-1999) and Cracker (1997-1999). But it would be his role as Howard “Bunny” Colvin, in the acclaimed HBO series, The Wire (2003-2008), that would launch him to fame. As an agent who decides to combat drug trafficking by opening a free zone of operation, Wisdom would create one of the most memorable roles in the fourth season of the series, in which he would participate throughout 27 episodes. The actor has had a notable career on television, being part of series such as Burn Notice (2010), Nashville (2012), Chicago PD (2014), Rosewood (2016), The Alienist (2018), Ballers (2015-2018) and The Hot Zone (2019), among others.
