Despite initial setbacks, Cohen eventually found success with his script being bought by Universal, turning into the Academy Award winning movie “The Sting” (1973).
In 1973, he was hired by 20th Century Fox Television as Head of Current Programming where he contributed to the first year of “M*A*S*H”. This led to his eventual promotion to the title of Vice President of TV Movies, solidifying his net worth.

His recent works include “The Boy Next Door” (2015) starring Jennifer Lopez and “The Hurricane Heist” which he wrote and directed, set for release in 2018.
Privately, Rob Cohen has residencies in Bali, Indonesia and Los Angeles, and is an avid surfer. He is married to Barbara Cashulin since March 2006 and has four children from three marriages.
