This movie has three other sequels like Revenge of the nerds II: Nerds in Paradise in 1987, Revenge of the Nerds III: The next generation in 1992, and Revenge of the Nerds IV: Nerds in Love movie in 1994.

In this movie, two best friends character  Lewis Skolnick and Gilbert Lowe admitted to Adam College for a Computer Science course. There is a famous football team, The Alpha Betas, which is carelessly burning down their house and complaining to Coach Harris. He take over the freshman dorms and the seniors are throwing the freshers out into the street. Dean Ulich of the college declared that they have living space in Gymnasium and allows the freshers to rush the facilities. Another character, Lewis, Gilbert, and others, can secure a dilapidated house near campus.
