Over the weekend, Gerard Pique was seen in a cosy display with his new girlfriend, Clara Chia, as they enjoyed a romantic dinner at a Japanese restaurant in Spain.
The retired footballer, aged 35, was photographed holding hands with the 23-year-old PR student as they stood outside the restaurant chatting after their meal.
This outing with his new girlfriend comes after Gerard and his ex, Shakira, reached a custody agreement for their sons Milan, nine, and Sasha, seven, following their separation earlier this year.
During the outing, Gerard wore a plain white T-shirt with dark jeans and black and white trainers, while Clara opted for a black trouser suit and off-white loafers.
In a joint statement, Pique and Shakira stated: “We have signed an agreement that guarantees the well-being of our children and that will be ratified in court as part of a mere formal procedure.”
The statement also emphasized their commitment to providing utmost security and privacy for their children while asking for their privacy to be respected.

Gerard, who retired from football over the weekend, is reported to have given his approval for Shakira’s plan to relocate with their two sons to Miami in the New Year to avoid a lengthy legal battle.
