An interview with Jennifer Aniston revealed her fertility struggles and experiences with IVF, all while facing intense public scrutiny regarding her desires for children.
Aniston, 53, shared that she faced challenging situations in her “late 30s, 40s, I’d gone through really hard s— that no one knew about.”
During this time, she attempted In vitro fertilization as part of her journey to conceive.
She expressed, “I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road. All the years and years of speculation … It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it.”
Aniston expressed a deep wish that someone had advised her to “Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor” as she feels that “The ship has sailed” in her case.
Despite her challenges, Aniston mentioned that she has no regrets and is content with her life, proud of her natural aging process with wrinkles and gray hair.
Reflecting on the media’s intrusive focus on her personal life and reproductive choices, Aniston highlighted the false narratives and rumors surrounding her decisions and her marriages.
Dismissing baseless speculations, she emphasized, “God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child. I don’t have anything to hide at this point.”
