Katie Polglase, a CNN reporter, has responded to the Lagos judicial panel’s report on the Lekki toll gate shooting, which blamed the Nigerian army and police.
She emphasized that the report supports CNN’s coverage of the massacre and the #EndSARS movement, and called out the Nigerian government for discrediting their evidence as fake news. She also pointed out that the Lagos judicial panel’s report referenced CNN’s report 37 times.
Polglase also shared a portion of the report that she claims reveals the alleged cover-up efforts by authorities.
