BIOGRAPHY
American actor, Ralph George Macchio, was born on November 4, 1961 in Huntington, Long Island, New York. He began participating in several television commercials and debuted on the big screen with the film Viva la Academia (1980). He later acted in the television series Con eight enough (1980) and in the feature film Rebeldes (1983).
In 1984, he starred in the film Karate Kid (1984), which was a resounding success and made him a star in the 1980s. He also starred in Karate Kid II, The Story Continues (1986) and Karate Kid III. The final challenge (1989).
He participated in films such as Crossroads (1986), Echoes of War (1988), My Cousin Vinny (1992), Naked in New York (1993) and A Good Night to Die (2003), although without much success.
His experience as an actor includes plays such as How to Succeed in Business Without Hitting and Beyond the Limit. Regarding his television career, Ralph appeared in series such as Ugly Betty (2008), Happily Divorced (2012), The Deuce (2017), Kevin Can Wait (2018) and Cobra Kai (2018).
