Police arrest four suspected traffic robbers on Christmas eve

On Christmas eve, the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command apprehended four alleged traffic robbers near the MKO Abiola Gardens in Ikeja. The official RRS Twitter handle disclosed this information in a statement. The suspects were caught in the act, and stolen phones and ATM cards were seized from them. The RRS further stated that the arrest took place around 7:30 pm following a tip-off from one of the victims. The apprehended individuals were identified as Wasiu Olawale (23), Adebayo Olatunbosun (20), Wale John (28), and Uche Ugwu (25), who is reportedly the gang leader. After three of the suspects were taken into custody, five victims positively identified them at the RRS headquarters. Currently, the suspects are assisting in the ongoing investigation and will be charged once it is completed.
