Perry Mason was the first weekly one-hour television series produced in Hollywood, and it is now one of the most famous and profitable legal dramas. It was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Dramatic Series during its first season, and it quickly became one of television's top five series. For the depiction of Mason's confidential secretary Della Street, Burr received two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and Barbara Hale got an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. In the first two TV Guide Award readers' surveys, Perry Mason and Burr were awarded Favorite Series and Favorite Male Performer, respectively. The series won Silver Gavel Award for television drama from the American Bar Association in 1960.

William Hopper as Paul Drake
Hopper portrayed P.I. Paul Drake. The character’s dry sense of humor made him a fan favorite. The actor also fought in World War II. Unfortunately, he died of pneumonia at the young age of 55.
William Talman as Hamilton Burger
The infamous Hamilton Burger. He was always a thorn in Perry Mason's side, yet he never actually won an argument with him. Possibly once or twice. Not to be confused with Michael J. Fox. Michael Fox is a character actor who played Dr. Hoxie, a medical examiner, on Perry Mason. Perhaps his most well-known role is as Saul Feinberg in The Bold and the Beautiful. In 1996, Fox died of pneumonia.
Connie Cezon as Gertrude "Gertie" Lade
Mason's receptionist Gertie was played by glamorous actress Connie Cezon. She was frequently discussed in the talks of the characters, although she only appeared on film a few times. Cezon, on the other hand, decided that the big screen was not the place for her and left the industry to create Connie's Kitty Castle, a cat hotel. That narrative came to an unexpected conclusion.
