BIOGRAPHY
American actor Parker Sawyers began his career in 2012, appearing in supporting roles in several films and television series. It didn’t take long for him to be cast in his first leading film role: playing a young Barack Obama in Southside With You , a story set in 1989 when an intern law student goes on a date with a lawyer at the law firm to which they both work. He also appeared in Don’t Hang Up (2016) as Mr. Lee and played Parisian jazz musician Albert Fallou in the BBC production World on Fire (2019). Since then he was part of the main cast of P-Valley (2020-2022) and had the recurring role of Ransome Fayrweather from the third season of A Discovery of Witches . He now co-stars alongside Alec Secăreanu in the new Max series Spy/Master (2023), a spy series set at the height of the Cold War
