The upcoming singer, Oxlade, has addressed accusations of showing fake love to the late singer, Mohbad.
Earlier, Oxlade shared a screenshot of a message he received from Mohbad in 2018 which he did not respond to.
In the message, Mohbad praised Oxlade’s singing talent, describing his voice as extraordinary and expressing his love for him.
Unfortunately, Oxlade did not reply to the message and even restricted Mohbad’s account, making matters worse.
Sharp-eyed netizens noticed this and took to the micro-blogging platform to criticize him for the perceived fake love, citing the prevalence of insincerity in the industry.
In response, Oxlade removed the post from his Instagram page and shared another screenshot of a conversation between him and the late singer.
During the exchange, both artists praised each other and expressed their mutual pride.
In a similar vein, Rema faced backlash when he shared a screenshot of a message he received from Mohbad.
While mourning the loss of Mohbad, Rema revealed that he had ignored Mohbad’s message on his Instagram page in 2020, where the late singer expressed his admiration for Rema’s song “Peace of Mind.”
Rema stated that he only saw the message after Mohbad’s death and acknowledged that it was now too late to reply.
