BIOGRAPHY
The Spanish actor Ó scar Jaenada was born on May 4, 1975, in Barcelona, Spain. As a child he dreamed of being an aeronautical engineer but he really enjoyed going to the movies with his grandmother. At age 13 he participated in his first Shakespeare play .
He had no formal acting training because he did not feel comfortable in acting schools, so he trained through experience, on stage. He was part of the l’Endoll theater group in Esplugues de Llobregat, participating in works such as Squad to Death (1997), Much Ado About Nothing (1996), Waiting for Godot (1994), Letters to Hércules Poirot (1995), Approved in Innocence and Sexual Perversity in Chicago (1998).
He moved to Madrid and worked as a waiter at the Hard Rock Café, where he met Luis San Narciso, who offered him to participate in television series such as 7 Lives and Compañeros. In 2000 he debuted on the big screen with the feature film Although you don’t know it, followed by Lisístrata (2003) and Descongélate (2003).
He has participated in films such as November (2003), The Truth Game (2004), XXL (2004), Shrimp (2005), Pirates of the Caribbean: Into Mysterious Waters (2011), Arteros (2012) and Cantinflas (2014), among many others.
Among his latest projects are the Netflix television series, Luis Miguel: The Series (2018), where he plays the heartless Luis Rey, in addition to the films Manos de piedra (2016), Loving Pablo (2017), Gold (2018) and The Man Who Killed Don Quixote (2018).
