BIOGRAPHY
Lisa Olivia Munn was born on July 3, 1980 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. Munn was raised primarily at Yokota Air Base near Tachikawa in Tokyo, Japan, where her stepfather was stationed. During this time, she appeared in a number of local theater productions and later became a model in the Japanese fashion industry. Her mother and stepfather divorced her, and Munn returned to Oklahoma, where she attended Putnam City North High School for her junior and senior years. She attended the University of Oklahoma, studying journalism, specializing in Japanese and dramatic arts.

In 2006, Munn moved to the G4 network, where she began co-hosting Attack of the Show with Kevin Pereira , the channel dedicated to the world of video games and the video game lifestyle. Although she admits that they were her “weak point”, she relied on her technical knowledge.

She played Sloan Sabbith in the HBO drama series The Newsroom . She also appeared as Angie, Nick’s stripper girlfriend, in three episodes in season two of the FOX comedy New Girl .

In 2016, Munn was cast as Elizabeth Braddock/Psylocke (one of the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse) in X-Men: Apocalypse and will reprise the role in X-Men: Dark Phoenix .

In November 2017, Munn accused film director Brett Ratner of sexually harassing her multiple times over several years.
