Nottingham Forest has announced Nigerian defender Ola Aina as the club’s best player for the month of September, following a vote by 40% of the supporters.
Aina’s arrival from Serie A club Torino in the summer has had a significant impact at the City Ground. The 26-year-old has proven his versatility by excelling on both the right and left side of defence.
Having made five league appearances for the Tricky Trees this season, Aina’s contributions have not gone unnoticed by the fans.
Taiwo Awoniyi, Aina’s international teammate, had received the award for August.
