The Igbo Anglican Church members in New Jersey recently called the police to ‘arrest’ a clergyman who had been invited to preach at their church. Their objection was that the clergyman supports same-sex marriage, a stance they do not condone.
Online videos depict the police entering the church to ‘remove’ the clergyman, whom they labeled an “intruder”.
Furthermore, the opposing church members accused a white clergyman of attempting to “hijack” their church.
There are videos available that show the chaos that ensued during the church protest, as well as the arrival of the policemen in the church.
